The Americans receive a second Covid-19 pension news Marcia Libosada 31 Dec 2020 (75) Just a day after the Secretary of the Treasury's announcement, the Americans began to see a second Covid-19 payout being deposited into the account. On the evening of December 29, while out to watch Christmas with his family, Mike Molitoris, a property manager in Cary, North Carolina, listened to the radio news that money would be sent to people via online mail. Mike Molitoris may be one of the first to receive money from the government's second...

I love, love this product
I teach in a Montessori style preschool. I love, love this product. I use the number cards to make sure that a child can identify the numbers and then that they can place the numbers in the correct order. Then I start with one set of the cards for a very young student. My more advanced students can use all the sets. The quality of the game is impressive. The cards are sturdy and well made. Each set of cards is bright and colorful making this work fun and interesting for the child. I plan to use this set for years to come. This is one of the best purchases I have bought for my classroom.

Builds Number Sense Through Play!
I LOVE Tiny Polka Dot! It offers a wide range of games with lots of ways to adjust for my son's skill level. He just turned 5, and he can subitize to at least 5, has developed his counting and cardinality skills, and is quickly becoming proficient at "making 5" and composing other amounts. My almost 3 year old likes to play as well, so he practices counting the dots and has begun to develop cardinality. When we play " make 5" as a family, he gets to pick and count a card while I pick its "make 5 partner". This is also one of my first recommendations when teachers ask for help teaching number sense (I'm an elementary math specialist).

Absolutely love these!
Absolutely love these!! I use them with my students all the time. I recommend them to parents and coworker. There are so many different engaging and differentiated ways to use them! Dan has many more games on his website for these as well. But kids also make up some pretty great games all on their own with them. ;)

3 isn't too young!
I was worried that my 3 yo might not be up for the game, but we just sat and played number games for almost 2 hours! Even clean-up can be a game (sorting by color and then putting numbers in order!). This is a really nice deck. Beautiful colors and good quality. Looking forward to years of math fun.

As a mom of a 6 and 3 year old, it's great that these cards have so many game variations to play with either child, at varying degrees of difficulty. I will be re-buying as a gift for friends.

Lots of great game ideas
This game is a set of many (10?) decks of cards with 0-10 dots in each deck. There are 16 simple-to-learn but challenging for the children games described. Some are super easy for our 7-year-olds, so the 4-year-old can play with them. Some are appropriately challenging, but not frustrating, for the big kids to play. Their favorite is one where you make groups of three cards that add up to 15. It's "go fish" style, where you ask for what you need. For example, my daughter might have a 9 and a 2, so she might ask my son if he has a 4. We have not played all the games yet. With 16 to choose from, I think this game of games has legs.

Fun, Mathematical, and Well-Made
This game is a GREAT way to build number sense for kids. It has a ton of variations, is connected to what kids are most likely learning in school, and is well-made. Its simplicity is part of what makes it so good. Play this game with your kids who are 3-6 especially. Help them move from counting all the dots on a card to grouping them and putting numbers together. I was playing with a kindergartner today who saw a card with 6 on it; she said "6" right away because she saw 3 and 3. This is the type of thinking you want your kiddos to start doing--moving from counting to understanding quantity. The game also has adaptations that involve more strategy; there are 16 variations. You could also adapt nearly all of the variations so that they used numbers 0-5 or 0-10 in order to change the level. Cannot say enough good stuff. If you have kids and want them to be flexible mathematicians, buy this!

Wonderfully Fun Teaching Games in One Box
We love this game. Played with a child who is struggling in math a bit and he was immediately drawn to it and played it over and over again. I like the many different games you can play with this one box. I also think you can make up some of your own to suit your needs. I think this is a wonderful game that is also a teaching tool. Highly recommend.

Great for little learners!
My son was completely against using these because he didn’t want to “learn” (his words, not mine). When I asked his older sister to play war with me using the cards he became very intrigued and wanted to play. We played several rounds even. These cards are well made and somewhat sturdy. I think we’ll keep these around! So far we’ve played memory and war but there are so many other options for play in this tiny little box. Great homeschool idea for those families that do :)

Portable and versatile game
Love how many games you can play with these cards! I wanted something small we could bring on a trip and there are so many suggested games inside this little box. There are several decks of cards (0-10) with different patterns that seem to align with stuff my first grader knows from school, like ten-frames. My first grader's favorite is playing memory with two different decks - one is a ten-frame and one is polka dots. He has to try to find the ten frame that has the same number as the polka dot (dice) card. Fun for him and us grown ups!
